Plunger valves are used to sense the position of parts mechanically within machine automation systems; the linear motion of a moving part pushes against the plunger and operates the valve.

Pneumatic plunger valves sense moving machine parts, often used for end stroke travel of cylinders, as a limit switch for door or barrier closure, or to detect the correct placement of components before machine operation.

Plunger valves are body-mounted or panel-mounted using the threaded neck and nut provided, available as a 2, 3 or 5-way valve configuration with G1/8 threaded connection ports.

We offer ATEX fully certified, CE-marked pneumatic plunger valves that comply with the ATEX directive for use within Group II Category 2, zones 1 and 21.
