Kendrion 01310 series permanent holding magnets have a rectangular-shaped body of hardened precision steel.

The coil is fully potted with resin to prevent dust, oil, grease, liquids, vapour and mud ingress.

Permanent holding magnets consist of a permanent magnet to hold ferromagnetic workpieces. When energised, the permanent magnet neutralises, and the workpiece disengages.

As a result, these holding magnets are ideal where long holding periods are required and energised for short times only.

In transportation devices, permanent holding magnets are used as safety magnets as loads are held reliably, even in a power failure situation.

There are two bar lengths; the largest achieves up to 1,530N of holding force.

Holding forces depend on the associated parts, such as mating material, minimum material thickness and diameter, and zero air gap with a smooth surface.

The standard voltage/duty cycle is 24V DC / 25%ED with a screw connection gland orientated to the bottom or side of the permanent holding magnet.
